Wow! What a difference a little plan from Jill makes in the life of all of us in the morning. The PTO's plan and assistance with school drop off has decreased the morning wait tremendously. The days are gone of finally dropping off after you've waited for 30 minutes or more and are frustrated with the wait and the inconsiderate nature of some who feel entitled to make the rest of us wait. And, because of the difference, we can all head off on our days cheerfully. THANK YOU!!!

Thanks for doing the Principal's Night In last night. I feel like I know more about the testing process now. It was good to hear that you & Mrs. Amburn literally go over each student's report to see how they're doing and see if there's anything that needs to be done. We have a great school, great leadership, and great teachers!!!

I wish I had a promethean board in my class. Mrs. Hurst is the best teacher ever and I think she would like to use one in our class.

We wish we could afford to outfit every classroom all at once; but of course, this was not feasible. We have a School Technology Team made up of representatives from each grade level. These teachers are the ones who completed more than a year of research on active boards prior to this initiative. The teachers serving on this committee were the first to receive the boards and the resulting 12 hours of professional development. They will become our in-house experts and help train all other teachers as we add boards to each grade level.

I understand these boards are quite expensive, and so we can't expect to have one in every classroom to start with. My question is how did you decide who got the first boards? I'm sure it was a very difficult decision!!
