Parent Nights Scheduled
Uncategorized August 13th, 2007It’s always exciting to see out parents at school. Although we’ve just been back in session a few days, Eaton students and teachers are hard at work. We want to share all the great things your child will learn during 2007-2008. First and Second grades will host Parent Nights on August 13 at 7:00 and 6:00, respectively. Then, on Tuesday, August 14, third and fourth grade will meet at 6 and 7. You will learn about this year’s school initiatives and spend time in your child’s classroom. The teachers will be going over their vision for the year, each grade’s curriculum, and classroom procedures. So, don’t miss out. We look forward to seeing you.

Hi – I just used the email option to send my child’s teacher a question via email. I noticed we no longer have access to see the teacher’s email address (can only access the email option via the website). I suppose this is fine, but I prefer to send the email directly out of my email application (versus the webmail option) since my email application keeps a record of email notifications that I have sent. Anyway is there a listing somewhere of the teacher email addresses or is this just how it works now?
Also I noticed that I was not prompted to provide a password to access the blog. Since the password is listed on the Eaton web page, that’s not a big deal, but I don’t see a way in which to start a new topic (I could only respond to existing topics). Am I missing something?

All Loudon County email addresses follow the same format — last name, first initial @loudoncounty.org with no spaces. For instance, my email address for Jennifer Malone is malonej@loudoncounty.org. Please call the school if you continue to have problems.
I will check on the password prompt. Edublogs underwent some changes this past year and may have omitted that feature. Thanks for your comments.
