Traffic Headaches

We know traffic continues to be a “bear” each morning.  You can expect it to get worse, though, before it gets better.  All kindergarten and Pre-K students will be here on August 23, so you can expect long lines.  Our staff will have “all hands on deck” but we are not able to control the flow off campus.  Usually, things smooth out after Labor Day.  By then, parents have established routines and not so many moms and dads are walking students into the building.  If you have suggestions or ideas for improvement, please let us know.

Parent Nights Scheduled

It’s always exciting to see out parents at school.  Although we’ve just been back in session a few days, Eaton students and teachers are hard at work.  We want to share all the great things your child will learn during 2007-2008.  First and Second grades will host Parent Nights on August 13 at 7:00 and 6:00, respectively.  Then, on Tuesday, August 14, third and fourth grade will meet at 6 and 7.  You will learn about this year’s school initiatives and spend time in your child’s classroom.  The teachers will be going over their vision for the year, each grade’s curriculum, and classroom procedures.  So, don’t miss out.  We look forward to seeing you.
